I don't know much about this but I was really grateful for your post; I found when I was about to have my gallbladder taken out that the internet is full of scary personal anecdotes from people who had bad experiences or didn't get what they needed out of a test or procedure, and very few "well, this was useful" ones. So while this doesn't apply to me, I'm still glad it's out there.
