The yarn I *was* using was sock yarn, and I failed to notice when I cast on thinking "Oh what pretty variegated yarn" was that it was 20% nylon and I was using too large needles, so it was looking like spaghetti...*sigh*...thank you for saving me! I decided that I didn't actually ever want to knit with it, even though the colors are pretty, so I gave it to my mom for her first pair of socks.
