(Does this count as spinning fanfic? Because I might have ALL THE IDEAS about spinning fanfic. Curious about what breaking dye is? It's when the dye "accidentally" breaks down into into its component colors. Check out this blog article for an explanation of doing it on purpose.)

I am thinking Rumpelstiltzkin and Sleeping Beauty and Arachne and Penelope... and obviously that would be retelling of Greek myth rather than just fairytale, but uh.

Oh, hey, DH recommended the book Origami in Action for some really cool stuff. I believe he found a woodpecker that pecks a tree there which we think is very cool. Then there is the Kowasaki rose which he got from a book called Roses, Origami, and Math. Is instructions for said Kowasaki rose.

Yeah, the various Kawasaki roses are my favourite designs, and the first more complex origami I learned to make. Thank you for the recommendation. I'll check the book out if I can find it. I had an origami book with a pecking woodpecker design when I was a kid but I never made it.
