These are things I think about quite a bit as a knitter/spinner/general fiber artist. This article also really makes me want to play with linen and rectangles.

Other things to think about: my blasted HoA bans clotheslines outside, which means washing your clothes by hand is that much harder.

It's a McCall's pattern. I can look it up for you later. Still in print, last I looked. I like the sleeveless collarless version, but it also has that options. It's a princess seam dress. I've also taken the zipper and back seam out since I don't need it :D But yes, we can talk about that pattern. I can show you the dresses I've made and wear.

Ugh. Why does fabric stuff have to be so fascinating? I don't even like to sew clothes, but I could talk about construction ALL DAY LONG. Ok, must go sew quilts. Or something. <3

I did get a little quilt a good way done. Still working on the stitching as it's a neuron:D
