Bathrooms at Maryland sheep and wool?

Hey,

I'm going (finally! hopefully!) to Maryland Sheep and Wool in a few weeks. I'm just wondering if any of you fine people have gone, and if so, if you know what the state of the bathrooms are? The friend I'm going with has Crohn's, so having a not-porta-potty is VERY important to our enjoyment of the festival. The fairground map looks like it has bathrooms, but I have no idea how many or if they are totally gross or if the lines are out of this world.

If the bathrooms are ridic at the fairgrounds, does anyone who has been know of a nearby-ish place with public-ish bathrooms that are non-icky? Say, a Starbucks or a McDonald's?

Thanks.

(and if you know someone who might know, feel free to DM me or send them a link to this)

Oh hell. Our shop used to have a booth every year until recently because of complicated issues, from what I can remember there are port-a-potties supplementing existing bathrooms that were, eh, poorly lit and with the kind of depressing ancient tile you get in gas stations, but a) clean and b) in buildings. And the lines were not that bad, but I think that also depends on the time of day you go.

I know someone who is a frequent flyer (so to speak) at MSW, and will ask them!

Okay! My source says that the constructed bathrooms (ie the ones on the map) are clean, but may have long lines. There are porta-potties that *are* kept clean, but IDK if even in that state they are any use to you. She says you're never more than about 100 feet from a bathroom, but again, this includes the portaloos.

There is a convenience store/maybe a sandwich shop/type place at the next big intersection to the east which would have facilities, BUT once you have a decent parking place, you probably do not want to give it up. If you have a handicapped tag for the vehicle, you may be able to get access to closer-in parking, but barring that, expect a long line of cars to get in, and a long line to get out.

I hope this info helps, even if it is not what you were hoping for. If you have further specific questions, I can email her.
