I had grand plans to create a series of writing prompts based on images, and I even pulled some images aside and put them on Flickr. It looks like doing photo prompts at this point might be a little crazy, so I offer them to you en masse to do what you will with. Use them for writing, art, whatever. You can make user icons from them (hint, hint), photoshop them. They are a gift to the world. Attribution would be appreciated.
I took all of the photos with my trusty Canon digital elph. I didn't put up much information about where each photo was taken, etc. as I thought it might spoil them as writing prompts. However, if you're curious just add a comment below.
A couple of my favorites:

For those who can't see the images properly (SPOILER ALERT):
(Image 1: A dark harbor with mist and some lights. Image 2: A castle courtyard with a tree in the center. Image 3: A cherry blossom tree leaning over some water. Image 4: A hot spring pool in Iceland, with crystals growing inside. Image 5: Columns standing in a rectangle on top of a hill - spoiler: these were the original columns for the capital of Washington, DC.)
I promise to post some fun goodies for the visually impaired (and others!) soon.
