And sometimes doctors don't even take co-morbidities into consideration! None of my doctors thought that doing bariatric surgery -- which means NO NSAIDS for the rest of your life -- might be a bad thing on someone who has arthritis in various joints, including the spine, and degenerative disc disease. (Among other things!) So we could even maybe do a few articles on how to advocate for yourself when you have many co-morbidities.
