Oh I've been trying to do [community profile] bitesizedcleaning , but lately nothing has gotten done because of health stuff. Now that the health stuff is finally somewhat behaving, I am left with a giant mess. Including a room that was half-reorganized when everything went boom.

Friday it got under my skin. So I cleaned the mold that was starting to grow in the bathroom, the mold that had grown on the bedroom window (condensation issues), the scary spider webs and dust on the bedroom floor, did three loads of laundry, changed the sheets, and generally just cleaned all the things.

My body seems to have a delayed reaction, though. Saturday (yesterday) was okay, and so I ran some errands and such until about four o'clock my body just sort of wound down. Then I introverted a LOT, and last night I slept 10 hours. Now I am sore and tired and I should probably call today a rest day.

But at least I'm not scared of my bathroom/bedroom anymore.

I dunno if you find the same to be true in your body (all bodies are different, each person is the best expert on their own), but I've often found that the physical reaction to unaccustomed exertion often comes on the 2nd day after. And that the soreness (and some muscle fatigue, if muscular exertion was included) can be forestalled partly or almost completely if I have the energy to do so, by doing a gentler version of similar activity before the peak soreness arrives. If don't have the energy, though, that really sucks; I just get to deal with being sore, and it can really discourage me from working that hard again.

Congratulations on cleaning all the bedroom bathroom things! That's a big job. (OMG mold, ick. I admire your bravery.) Hope you recover well.
