lap blanket finished!
Oct. 22nd, 2012 08:21 amThis was the "zombie knitting" project I started in March omg, to work on when I couldn't focus on anything else.
It is gorgeous and soft and warm, and while I was originally planning on giving it to Project Linus I think now it is going to my grandmother as a lap blanket. Because it took 8 months, and I think I will just knit more chemo caps for charity or quilt a blanket for Project Linus. My grandmother will appreciate 8 months of knitting.
In case you were wondering, the pattern is indeed based off of "Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth." With stripes.
( 2 knitting photos behind the cut )
Partner has threatened to steal it, because so comfy! So has mother. I told them my grandmother has cold knees.
