Knitting update! (And washcloths galore)
Oct. 22nd, 2011 10:33 amJust wanted a quick post to update folks on my knitting...several washcloths and 20" of a scarf (to date).

Here's my drop stitch scarf. I'm having fun playing with how many rows of garter stitch I do between sets of drop stitch. It's a playful scarf! Irregular yarn and irregular stitching! About 20" along (more if I stretch it!). I think I'll end up having enough yarn to make a hat, too!

I keep thinking about eyes...if I had gotten the red yarn this definitely would have been my "Eye of Sauron" hat.

Yellow/white basketweave wash cloth. (All washcloths done in Sugar n' Cream cotton yarn.)

For a friend who loves pink and elephants...not a commentary on alcoholism.

Teach me not to use stitch markers...the right border accidentally has a couple of rows of stockinette rather than garter stitch...I ended up purling across the row. Decided that it wouldn't stop someone from getting clean, so I didn't pull it back.
