Migraine of doom slowly receding, but I still have to be careful around the computer screen so I'll try to keep this short.
Have spent most of the week with an icepack on the back of my neck, moaning in the dark. Did manage quite a bit of knitting yesterday (and am resting my hands today). I'm making a baby sweater (! O.o).
Also have been making finger-woven garlands out of Christmas yarn to string around the house to make things festive. It actually looks pretty good. Am bullying parents into getting some sort of tree.
Must help partner put away groceries. We got a duck for Thanksgiving. I feel slightly guilty when I think of Daffy etc, but omg does the recipe look delish.
More updates when my brain complies.

Date: 2011-11-19 05:00 pm (UTC)You mentioned hand pain. I happened to see this linked in a thread on Ravelry this morning. It mentions tips for avoiding hand pain with knitting.

Date: 2011-11-20 02:47 pm (UTC)It's actually "simple seed stitch", which means it's basically stockinette with an extra purl thrown in every five stitches or so (but only on the rows on the right side). So still kind of easy, but not so monotonous as regular stockinette.
