I also yarn-bombed my walker, which is great because when people get the awkward "why is a young person using a walker" the words of awkward out of their mouth are "oh that is interesting...yarn?" and then we talk about knitting and not yet another conversation "why yes, I *do* use a walker, and no I don't want to talk about it."
I can definitely see writing up some crafty "how to decorate your accessibility device so the crafting becomes a conversation piece instead of how sick you are" kind of how-to's.
