So
spiralsheep 's artwork and photographs continue to inspire me, and now that
automaticdoor has graciously gotten me more Flickr space - well! It was only a matter of time before I started photographing butterflies and bees in tribute, and Saturday was the perfect day. Perfect because I went to a plant sale with my mum, and eventually I got bored of looking at plants and started taking photos instead.

It was hard to capture the sense of movement, but these (what I think are) common whites were basically dancing amidst the flowers.

I have no idea what this butterfly is, but I do like the colors. I know it's on coneflower. At one point there were about five of them, but I couldn't get a clear shot.

Bumblbee on a flower of some sort. I like the textures in this one, personally.
Yay, dreamwidth!
