haiku is in the air

Sojjhunter ran a "How are you, in Haiku?" the other day that was super fun, and I neglected to link to it on the day. It was lots of fun though! I hope she will host again soon! *glances meaningfully at jjhunter*

Some cosmic force seems to be telling me to get back into haiku/tanka writing - perhaps to cope with Glitch closing? - because cadenzamuse  is doing a NaBloPoMo (National Blog Poetry Month) and writing haiku.

December 6th is my favorite so far. It begins:

Her heart hibernates...

Aww, thanks. I think NaBloPoMo is "National Blog Posting Month" BUT it doesn't matter because it seems like the people who run NaBloPoMo do it EVERY month, like "EVERY MONTH IS POST EVERY DAY MONTH, M***ERF*CKERS!" Which is just O.o to me--"DEAR NABLOPOMO PEOPLE, DON'T YOU SEE THAT YOU'RE DILUTING THE CONCEPT OF A MONTH LONG CHALLENGE? GOOD GRIEF!" etc.

Anyway. Thank you so much for linking to my poem! I am super-flattered! And I was inspired to do it because of your poetry, I think (as I got the itch before I knew JJ really at all), so CIRCULAR INSPIRATION, YAY!

(I think I have used up my allotment of capslock for the month. :-P )
