Just for reference, I never say that I'm at a 10. It's a weird thing with me, but I think at that point I'm probably dead or unconscious. Well, this morning I got to find out what that 10 feels like. We went to the local ER (again) for IV fluids and oh hai food poisoning (again). I liked the doctor a lot better this time, he actually listened! Like when I said that cephelosporins tend to give me C. Diff, he gave me another med to treat the secondary UTI. FUN TIMES. He's also testing me for C. diff and E. coli and all those fun things. But hey, at least my kidney function looks okay! So that is a good sign.
What was the OPPOSITE OF HELPFUL is that both times I have gone in to get IV fluids because no other way would they stay in my system, the IV started hurting after half a liter of fluids. And they took awhile taking it out yesterday which is why it hit a 10, and I was having trouble telling people TAKE IT OUT I CAN'T BREATHE IT HURTS SO MUCH.
Instead it was, "Well, the vein is still good, I'd hate to start another one, are you sure you want to take it out?"
YES FOR FUCK'S SAKE TAKE IT OUT
