My new fandom

Last night, my mom's reaction was, "I can't believe we're watching this...I think I'm falling asleep."

However, there is something very relaxing about watching your cat watch a British documentary about Urban Birds. For several reasons:

1. Cat
2. Cat growing increasingly excited about THE BIRDS. THE BIRDS. And then trying to figure out where they GO. And ARE THEY BEHIND THE MAGIC BOX MOM. And also, if he jumps down below the TV, MAYBE THEY WILL COME BA--ANOTHER ONE ANOTHER ONE.
3. The narrator of British documentary about Urban Birds. (rough rememberance of a section partner and I found particularly entertaining; please to picture being announced with little emotion in a woman with what I think was a Midland's accent: In this semblance of an Urban Garden, which is by necessity larger than the average urban garden, many cameras have been placed. However, they are hidden so as not to disturb the birds whilst they are feeding. This allows us to get many shots of birds quite close up, which may help aid you in identifying birds in your own garden.)

There is also an "aquarium for your home," which one can watch for a full hour. (Chance has about 10-20 minutes of TV attention span so far though.) However, partner and I spent the vast majority of Aquarium For Your Home having mock conversations between the clownfish and the whatever-the-actual-name-of-the-Dory-fish is. Let me tell you, that clownfish was not very good at sharing.

I am so behind in all my other shows, zomg. However, we want to watch the Data-gets-a-cat episode while Chance is around and see what he does.

Ohhh, nice new fandom! Low-stress, too! Well, maybe not completely for Chance, but it sounds like it's a kind of stress he likes--excitement, rather than stress.

Conversations between on-tv-aquarium fish sound like a really good way to entertain yourselves. Definitely.

Watching your cat watch tv would be wonderfully entertaining. I like watching Artemis watch the birds from the couch. He makes this wonderful little chirping meow. It's adorable.
