Introducing Amelié, the foster cat my mom might maybe adopt (squee). She is tiiiiny (~7 lbs) and stands up to Chance and likes playing if you move the toy right. She's also been ill lately, poor thing, probably from stress. In fact she is at the dreaded vet right now. I am hoping they do not prescribe more pills because I have several scratches from trying to wiggle away from pills already. Anyway, she is a sweetie. When you are not giving her evil pills, that is. (She is a small black maybe-Bengal kitty facing the camera laying down with her paws tucked under her on top of a soft white mat thing.)

Amelié watching Chance from the bed; Chance is on a chair in front of the TV. He started out watching cat TV but ended up falling asleep. Later on, Amelie will also fall asleep (as did I, briefly, on the bed).
Chance sitting on my dad's desk. Because no one told him not to! And interesting smells! Papers! Lamps, oh how he loves lamps! Anyway, he had a good time. My dad does not know yet...
Chance and Roscoe laying side by side in front of a window. Roscoe is curled up asleep, and Chance is looking for birds. I should mention, in case you lost track, that they are both black cats. Roscoe is 17 lbs and Chance is about 9? Maybe 10 now he's grown and become an expert food extortionist? Anyway, the managed like that for quite awhile. Roscoe is at the Pet*store rescue area so he gets more exposure; to save my sanity from feeding three cats three different foods in three different rooms &tc; to prevent territory disputes in the house. I do miss him, though.

Date: 2014-10-30 06:19 am (UTC)Baggins loves lamps too! When he was a wee kitten, we used to switch on the desk lamp and he would sunbathe under it like a chick. (He had really fine fur, he was practically naked, poor little guy. Eventually we bought him a little dog coat to wear.)
