Feb. 6th, 2016 08:08 ammy partner made the bestest food ever and I have to wait for our writing buddies to come over so I can eat it. *flails hands*
you have maybe heard of baba ghanoush? this is NOT that. no. this is much, much MUCH better. because it involves ground walnuts and pomegranate molasses and my mouth basically melting and curling up in a corner and purring.
(also if I eat too much it's bad because of that sliiiight eggplant allergy but I CARE NOT omg omg *flails hands*)
I attempted to make gluten free cookies for our friend who is coming over. they are mostly okay I think. like delicious and full of chocolate but consistency sans flour is hard. anyway, I tried.

If you'd like gluten free recipe recs, I have a couple of friends who play with all sorts of different recipes in the eternal quest for 'best dessert we can have now that wheat flour's proved to be bad for us', so I'd bet they'd know a few things. :3
Or you could just make pavlova, if you have an electric mixer. I mean. I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like pavlova. Assuming there's no egg allergies, anyway. (Don't even attempt it if you don't have an electric mixer, though. It's way too much mixing for anyone.)
...and now I wanna bake, but it's 1:30am. I can't bake at this hour, Mama would wake up and murder me. In the morning, though, maybe. That would be nice. :3
